Aw, gee, what can I say? Thank-you everyone, thank-you to all of those who helped me get this far. I...huh? What!? This isn't an awards ceremony? Well...well...heck! Oh well, I can do without the award - for now.
My name is Leslie T., I'm fourteen and I'm an - oops, sorry, wrong place. Seriously though, my name is Leslie Terwilliger, I am fourteen and will be fifteen August 6. I live in a really tiny place called Southern California, and I'm currently a Freshman in high school. Not for long though, school's almost out, and as soon as summer comes along I'll be officially considered a Sophmore. Oh doesn't it give you chills? Whatever.
I write, a lot. I write just about every genre from nonfiction to songs. I'm also an avid reader of just about everything I can get my hands on, and I love music. I've gone to a Roman Catholic church for about 2 and a half years, and have been baptized for one year. I'm active in my church, as assistant teacher for the children's R.C.I.A. program (Rites of Christian Initiation for Adults) and an altar server. I'm also a strong advocate for equality, tolerance, and education, especially regarding homosexuality and bisexuality, even though I'm straight. I'm currently trying to start a Gay/Straight Alliance at my high school and I'm a founding member of the Human Relations Committee (also at my high school). I love writing really long letters and getting long letters. And, what can I say, if you send me a love letter I melt!
As to my part in the wild creation of Dum-De-Dum, I am the Great Leslie, Goddess of the Galaxy, Upholder of Goofiness, Creator of Dum--De-Dum, Wearer of Lint Pants, Inscriber of Chants, and Literary Genius. Of course, Goddess Becky shares the roles of Goddess of the Galaxy, Upholder of Goofiness, and Creator of Dum-De-Dum with me. I am also the greatly revered editor and webmistress of this site, with the ever helpful assistance of Goddess Becky.
If you'd like to contact me, there are several ways, means, and places. I have stacks upon stacks of e-mail addresses, two AOL screen names, another web page, and an ICQ#. On AOL my regular screen name is Crucinia, but I'm hardly ever on that name. I'm usually on my RPG (role play game) name, which is EmberBlesd. You can e-mail me at [email protected] or [email protected]. My ICQ # is 11486844, and my other web page is a literary e-zine called Watermelon E-Zine. Also, I'm a member of theGlobe.com, and my name there is Existence. If you have Yahoo pager, my name there is Crucinia. I love getting e-mail and will respond to any and all that you send. Hope to hear from you!
